The
Monastic Marketplace
Inner Light Productions has received several letters from monasteries and
friends of monasteries about products offered for sale as a means of supporting the monastic life in various communities.
To help support these communities, we are setting up this Monastic
Marketplace where goods and services produced and offered for sale by
monks and monasteries will be listed. Inner Light Productions makes no money from this service, but we offer
it as a free service to our monastic brothers and sisters. Please support the life and work of the monasteries by
purchasing their products whenever possible; most importantly, though, remember them in your prayers.

The Hermitage of the Holy
Cross, recently relocated to West Virginia from House Springs, Missouri, makes
incense and sells other liturgical items. Their web site is also very interesting to visit as you can see how these monks
are establishing their new monastery in the forested Appalachian mountains! There are many photos of the kellia (cells) under
construction, the church, and the fathers themselves. They also produce and sell wonderful incense which is great to have in your
"home church." Please check them out at

"Our Lady of Vladimir Bookstore" is run by a small skete in
Albuquerque, New Mexico. Fr. Barsanuphius and the monks there maintain a small bookstore and "serve the homeless and the
hopeless." You can e-mail them through their site.

The Monastery of St. Anthony the Great in Phoenix, Arizona,
produces and sells pure beeswax candles and honey, along with assorted publications. You can
e-mail them or write to
Saint Anthony the Great Orthodox Monastery, 3044 North 27th Street,
Phoenix, AZ 85016-7926.

The Monks of Vashon Island sell excellent coffee and tea
directly on-line. Having ordered and prepared some of their
excellent coffee ourselves, we can attest to its high quality and
excellent taste! The "Byzantium Roast" is especially
good. :)
-
The Holy Transfiguration Monastery in Boston has an
excellent on-line catalogue of books, some of which are not available elsewhere.

Finally, an Anglican monk, Brother Alex in Seattle, offers
prayer beads which he makes by hand through the monastery's web
site.
To add listings to this page, please
e-mail us so
we can check out the site and then add it as appropriate. Thanks!
